As you can see below there is a wide range of different carp fishing videos from short 30 second trailers to hour and a half long films and documentaries, these all cover different aspects of carp fishing and along with this I feel there are quite a few of the films which cover all codes and conventions of documentaries. Through research, you can clearly see how the different companies have different consumers and customers as the editing styles music and anglers featuring are all different to suit a certain type of person/angler through all the various ways I just stated. This really opened my eyes to how many potential customers these companies have and how when I come to producing my documentary I will have to know exactly who my target audience is and make my documentary to suit them. I feel one thing they all have in common are many editing techniques and camera angles when they have a fish on the end of the rod and also on the bank and how they edit these together follows a similar pattern which I feel is very effective.
